Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe
A large ceremonial plaza greets parishioners and visitors to this prairie Cathedral. The Easter Fire is at the center of the Plaza, A 77 foot bell tower marks the location of plaza and main entrance.
The baptismal font, altar and ambo are focal points of the worship space. Considered as a single unifying composition, the three pieces of liturgical furniture met the design goal to impart permanence, unity, and honor for this new Cathedral. Following the guidelines of the Roman Catholic Church this new Cathedral speaks of noble simplicity, timelessness and God consciousness. Bishop: Most Rev. Ronald M. Gilmore
