Service Provided:
Work with pastor and/or committee in planning process for building or renovation. Collaborate with architect, contractor, artisans to achieve client's vision -on time and on budget. Provide resources for custom, catalog, and vintage options for furnishings, artwork, and appointments. Review architectural drawings to ensure they will function for liturgical requirements. Other services include parish surveys, presentation boards, guidance on compatibility with BOLS & GIRM documents, code compliance, sourcing of original, catalog, and vintage furnishings, artwork, and appointments as well as guidance on budget priorities.

Philosophy/Approach:
Churches should be beautiful! It is not a question of form versus function; the function of a church is to be beautiful, to inspire mortals to aspire to immortality, to invite the divine to dwell within, to shut out the secular world and reveal a space in which to celebrate the sacred..

Bachelor of Arts, Washington College. Bachelor of Arts, Washington College. Owner & Project Manager, Dixon Studio, since 1991. Licensed Class A Contractor. Editorial Adviser to and Writer for Faith & Form magazine. Served on Awards Jury for Interfaith Forum for Religion, Art, and Architecture.
