House of The Church: Thomas Paul &amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;amp; Richard Lundgren provide and conduct illustrated educational programs for parish committees and the parish at large. These sessions will include visual elements, site visitations, and the study of liturgical documents. A liturgical audit of the existing space and ritual action will be provided. Advise owner on process as well as organization of committees and the selection of professionals. Work with architect, acoustician, and other professionals to ensure assembly seating configuration and liturgical design issues are incorporated into the design, and that events of the liturgical year and sacraments are considered. Work as a liaison to craftspeople for all liturgical furnishings and art. Assist the client as it interfaces with the local diocese on approvals and permissions.
A Liturgical Consultant serves in the total experience of the building process. The Consultants work with the community, building committee, architect and other professionals to create an appropriate liturgical space that will help to form the faith of the community. The consultants need to be sensitive to all the issues that are part of the space. These include: design, furnishings and most importantly, use of Liturgical spaces need to embrace faith that is rooted in history, lived experience and be open to change. The eyes, mind and heart of the consultants need to be attuned to this faith.
