Philosophy / Approach

My consulting is a ministry of working with parishes to search together for the best solutions in addressing sacred space needs following church document norms. It includes education/formation, design and participatory decision making based on a discernment model. It is my role to be an open listener, help the parish articulate its story, vision and needs, ask objective, challenging questions, affirm good decisions, and provide input and leadership to the parish and professionals throughout the project. The spiritual growth of the parish during a project is a priority. I believe it is important to know and respect the local culture of the parish and the area. My primary area of ministry is assisting rural parishes in South Dakota, Iowa, Nebraska and Minnesota.
