Stations in Glass

St. Jerome Church, Brampton Ontario

Completed: 2003

These designs for stations of the cross combine simple figures on abstract grounds. They occupy 14 openings (16" X 15") along the south aisle of St. Jerome Church.

Mood is created with blocks of colour in primary shapes, mostly angular.
Intense reds, purples and blues are used to achieve drama; more sombre earth colours - ochre, grey-greens and blues - provide intermittent relief.

The majority of the panels are leaded. Painting and etching techniques are also employed.
