Our Lady of the Angels

Location: Paradise Valley, Arizona
Completed: 2017

Nine commissioned windows created for the new Our Lady of the Angels Conventual Church at La Casa—The Franciscan Renewal Center in Scottsdale, Arizona.

These windows are inspired by the Canticle of Creation by Saint Francis, with each window representing a distinct stanza. The reredos windows speak to the first manger scene created by St. Francis at the town of Greccio. The large south-facing Marian window offers a vision of the Blessed Mary’s Assumption. Together these windows emphasize the humility of God and invite the viewer into the process and grace of renewal. Three windows exceed 30 feet in height while another window is over 30 feet in length. Scott Parsons, Artist
